WIKA records contract of 6.7 trillion until June

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned construction firm PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) recorded contracts worth 6.7 trillion IDR until June 2014. The value was 25.94 percent or 25.83 trillion IDR from the total target.

Corporate secretary, Natal Argawan explained that the contracts was from several projects, including Simpang Air Hitam flyover project (105.9 billion IDR), Dompak bridge in Tanjung Pinang, Riau (284.4 billion IDR), CBD Surabaya Apartement (634.6 billion IDR), Dharma Husada Tower project (401.8 billion IDR) and Sambu Island fuel terminal project in Riau Islands (740.45 billion IDR). 

Company also secured contracts from Gasoline hoarding project in Tanjung Uban, Riau Islands (1.14 trillion IDR), procurement services of infrastructure development of Bandung Technological Institute (ITB) building worth 178.66 billion IDR, Jakarta Regional General Hospital construction project (188.28 billion IDR) and Telkom University new building project (110.22 billion IDR). WIKA targetted total contracts of 49.97 trillion IDR this year.

"This value increased 28.56 percent compared to 38.87 trillion IDR the last year," Argawan said on Monday.
