Fujitsu boss says Indonesia has good market

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TOKYO -- President of Fujitsu Ltd Masami Yamamoto said that Indonesia's ICT (information, communication and technology) market and business sector had good prospects

On a roundtable with international media in Tokyo recently, Yamamoto said Indonesia was a different market compared to other countries.

"Compared to other countries, in Indonesia, there are more Japanese manufacturers in operation," he said

Fujitsu, he said, had provided several solutions offered for Indonesian market, such as health, manufacture and automotive sectors. Fujitsu, he said, had been involving in major infrastructure projects in Indonesia

About the European market, Yamamoto said Fujitsu has been done business there.  According to him, European like Germany was also very good market.

"Fujitsu intent to serve consumers and expand its services there," he said.

Yamamoto continued it didn't differentiated between the developed and emerging market, because each country had different conditions and different character. For example, in Saudi Arabia, Fujitsu supported the education sector by providing services to universities.

In Fujitsu Forum 2014 in Tokyo, Yamamoto said that the event was an opportunity for Fujitsu to show its activities and innovations. The theme of the forum was Human Innovation Centric because of the ICT became an important thing in human activities such as for a business. 

In Fujitsu Forum 2014, Fujitsu also showed a lot of technological innovations, in agriculture, automotive and health.
