Anis Matta ensures the coalition with Gerindra

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) will soon declare the coalition with Gerindra party. Chairman of PKS, Anis Matta said that he had discussed it with Gerindra chairman, Prabowo Subianto.

"The principal discussion has been completed. We have reached the agreement," Matta said on Sunday as reported by Ahmad Syalaby Ichsan.

Matta said that the new axis of joint coalition of Islamic political parties did not succeed, so the party would join with Gerindra. Matta always present in every event of political friendship that was initiated by Muslims leaders.

Gerindra intensively approached the Islamic party. Prabowo ever met PKS chief patron, Hilmi Aminuddin. The four stars general also met Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, PKS cadree.
