REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Publicly listed telephone distributor in Indonesia, PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk (TRIO) plans to build 1,000 new outlets with a special concept this year. President Director of Trikomsel, Sugiono Wiyono Sugialam said that about 70 percent of company's income derived from the sales of mobile phones.
For that, company will expand the supporting facilities to increase services for mobile phone buyers. These outlets can collaborate with photography, music and coffee shops. Trikomsel has 1,050 outlets last year.
"The new outlets will not only sell mobile phone, but also its accessories," Sugialam said in annual meeting on Friday as reported by Meiliani Fauziah.
Company seeks to increase the revenue by 15 percent in the end of the year at 11.85 trillion IDR, an increase from 10.3 trillion IDR in 2013. Company recorded a significant growth of 31 percent, from 367.27 billion IDR in 2012 to 478.83 billion IDR in 2013.
Trikomsel set the budge 43.75 billion IDR for capital expenditure in 2014. The value is higher than 35 billion IDR in 2013. It will be used to pay off company's purchase of assets, such as warehouses and outlets.
