Slovenian parliament speaker to visit Iran next week

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- Slovenian Parliament Speaker Yanku Webber heading a high-ranking political, economic, trade and parliamentary delegation will arrive in Tehran next week.

Webber's visit will be the first of a Slovenian high-ranking official in the past 20 years.

A 30-member economic delegation comprising representatives of trade companies headed by Slovenian head of chamber of commerce will also accompany Webber during his visit to Tehran.

The Slovenian economic delegation comprises experts in energy, banking, electricity, telecommunications and agriculture.

The Iran-Slovenia Trade day will also be held during the three-day visit of the Slovenian delegation to Iran.

The senior governmental officials, head of the chambers of commerce and managing directors of trade corporations of the two countries will take part in the Iran-Slovenia Trade day with the aim of familiarizing with different areas of mutual cooperation.

The upcoming visit will be the second visit of the Slovenian trade and economic delegation to Iran.
