REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Government sets April 1 as Indonesian Marketing Day. This day is expected to make Indonesia a better position in world business competition.
Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mari Elka Pangestu has inaugurated this day with many representatives of business associations in Indonesia.
"Indonesian Marketing Day aims to strengthen marketing activities and branding in Indonesia involving many players of creative industries, such as advertising, design, film, photography, performance art, music, TV, radio and IT based new media," Pangestu said on Tuesday.
To be able to compete in international business, the strength of resources must be balanced with market and marketing ability. Therefore, marketing and branding are keys as the market is required to have the ability to create products according to consumer needs and expectations.
Indonesian Marketing Day is a reflection that Indonesian needs orientation and marketing strategy at corporate level and state level. It will remind and encourage business sectors in Indonesia to continue to create and innovate.
