BNI's third party fund reaches 476 billion IDR

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- State owned Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) recorded third party fund through BNI Taplus Muda worth 476 billion IDR in January 2014. This value increased 13.72 percent compared to same period last year.

Number of accounts in BNI Taplus Muda increased 354 percent to 513 thousand accounts since it was launched in July 2012. BNI is working with youth community, such as music fans or sports fans to develop BNI Taplus Muda.

"This growth is higher compared to 4.65 percent of BNI Taplus growth," BNI's Corporate Secretary, Tribuana Tunggadewi said recently as reported by Friska Yolandha.

BNI's president director, Gatot M Suwondo explained that company's third party fund had reached 291.89 trillion IDR or grew 13.3 percent compared to same period last year. Credit portofolio grew 24.9 percent in 2013 compared to 250.64 trillion IDR in 2012.

Corporate loan reached 112.23 trillion IDR making an increase in loan to deposit ratio (LDR) from 77.5 percent in 2012 to 85.3 percent in 2013. Credit quality also improved by decreasing of non-performing loan (NPL) ratio from 0.8 percent in 2012 to 0.5 percent in 2013. BNI also booked a net profit growth of 28.5 percent or 9.05 trillion IDR.
