REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scheduled to examine Minister of Administrative Reform (PAN-RB), Azwar Abubakar in case of alleged corruption on construction project of Free Trade Zone and Free Port in Sabang, Aceh from 2006 to 2010.

"He will be examined as a witness for the defendants," Head of Reporting and Information in Commission, Priharsa Nugraha said recently.

KPK has set two suspects, namely Ramadhani Isniy  (an official of Concession Agency for the Free Trade and Free Port Zone of Sabang) and Heru Sulaksono (Branch Head of PT Nindya Karya in North Sumatra and Aceh).

PT Nindya Karya is part of consortium of joint operation in Sabang project and also a contractor. Contract between Nindya Karya and PT Tuah Sejati as project owner has value of 262 billion IDR until December 2011. Losses due to the project is estimated 249 billion IDR. KPK has searched Nindya Karya office in Jakarta on August 2013.
