REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -  State owned construction company, PT Adhi Karya posted a net profit of 408.43 billion IDR, or skyrocketed 91.5 percent compared to previous year. It was driven by 28 percent of operating profit growth or 9.79 trillion IDR.

"Cost of revenue increased 29 percent, so our gross profit rose slightly from 955.8 billion IDR to 1.19 trillion IDR," Adhi Karya's Corporate Secretary, M Aprindy said recently.

Adhi Karya also booked the profit of the high of interest income, from 5.521 billion IDR to 32.51 billion IDR in the end of 2013.  Company also recorded benefit from exchange rate, from 17.86 billion IDR to 110.16 billion IDR.

Company's profit also came from the sale of fixed assets improvement worth 10.16 billion IDR. Cash and cash equivalents increased from 948.84 billion IDR to 1.93 trillion IDR in the end of 2013.
