MLTR's vocalist misses Indonesian 'nasi goreng'

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The legendary Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) will greet its fans in Jakarta on February 19, 2014. The vocalist, Jascha said that he missed nasi goreng (fried rice, Ed).

"We really missed the hospitality of Indonesian people and also nasi goreng," he said recently.

Jascha promised to hold a series of tours, to perform on stage and see smiles among fans. MLTR has been 25 years working on music industry. Their popular songs are The Actor, Sleeping Child, 25 Minutes, Someday, Paint My Love, That’s Why (You Go Away) and Take Me To Your Heart. 

Managing Director of Fullcolor Entertainment, David Ananda as the tour promoter said that he was very happy with MLTR response. He believes the band concert will be able to captivate music lovers in Indonesia. The ticket prices starts from 750 thousand IDR to 2.5 million IDR. 

"MLTR is the most romantic band known in Asia. Of course, it will be the most perfect present for Indonesian fans," Ananda said.

MLTR will perform at Skeeno Exhibition Hall, Gandaria City, Jakarta. The group's members are Jascha Richter (vocal/keyboard), Mikkel Lentz (guitar/backing vokal), and Kaare Wanscher (drum/percussion) after Soren Madsen decided to leave the group in 2000 to pursue a solo career.
