REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Seven people have died in collision between KRL Commuterline train with Pertamina premium (not LPG) tanker at the intersection of Bintaro, Tangerang, on Monday (9/12).
However, identities of the seven victims were not yet known.
From the data obtained by ROL in the field, all the victims are female passengers. The bodies' conditions of the seven victims were reportedly burnt by fire.
A witness, Reza said when the incidence occurred he was driving a car right behind Pertamina tanker which was hit by KRL. "After being hit, the tanker dragged around 5-10 meters and exploded," Reza said to ROL, Monday afternoon.
Reza added, after the truck exploded the fire spread to the train, many victims scramble out to break the glass. "Most passengers in the two train wagons were women," he said.
