REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, AMMAN -- Jordan's Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs Hayel Daoud on Sunday condemned Israel's "systematic and repeated violations against al-Aqsa Mosque and the Arabic-Islamic and Christian heritage of Jerusalem, " the state-run Petra news agency reported.

The minister accused Israel of allowing radical Jews to storm into the mosque and clash with worshippers, stressing that all Muslims reject these practices.

The minister also condemned Israel for violating the rights of Arab Christians and Muslims of Jerusalem and called on the Arab League and international agencies to take immediate action.
