Iran, Iraq call for expansion of cinematic cooperation

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- Iraqi Deputy Culture Minister Taha Nasser al-Mahmoud conferred on Saturday with Iran's Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Cinematic Affairs Hojatollah Ayoubi on ways to develop cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The Iraqi official called for benefiting from Iran's experience in the field of cinematic arts.

The two deputy ministers called for adopting programs for cultural and cinematic cooperation between Iran and Iraq.

They agreed to broaden cooperation in production, development and education of cinematic arts.
