REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- Deputy Commander of Iranian Army Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi said the new radar unveiled Wednesday is capable of identifying Cruise missiles.

"The radar has been built by Iranian Navy. It detects the intended targets 110 miles away. It also can detect Cruise missiles," Mousavi told ISNA at the unveiling ceremony of Asr (Era) radar.

"The radar is built for circuit 10 region which is the place of Iranian Navy's mission and enhances the Navy's sight.

The radar can be installed in vessels and can detect enemies.
