REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Team of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) widens its investigation on construction of Hambalang sports complex in Bogor, West Java to three new locations. One of locations is house of Laila Athiyah, wife of Anas Urbaningrum (former Democratic Party Chairman).
"The investigation spread to four locations," KPK Spokesman, Johan Budi said on Tuesday.
Budi said other locations still waited for investigator information. Beside house of Laila Athiyah, KPK also searches a house at Teluk Langsa Street, Duren Sawit, South Jakarta. The house is not far from Athiyah's house. This house allegedly belongs to M Arifin who served as project development consultant for Hambalang, PT Metafora Solusi Global (MSG).
The third location is at Kemang Pratama Housing at Block A, No. 12A, Bekasi, West Java. This house allegedly belongs to Roni Wijaya who served as Finance Director of PT Dutasari Citralaras. Athiya is a commissioner of PT Dutasari Citralaras, while Mahfud Suroso was managing director of the company that became a subcontractor of PT Adhi Karya Wika, contractor of Hambalang project.
Suroso was named a suspect after KPK investigators conducted a further investigation on the alleged corruption conducted during the construction of the sports center in Hambalang. The fourth location is in Rawa Buaya West Jakarta. It is not yet known about the owner. The investigation is still ongoing process.
