REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice-President Boediono will meet Prime Minister Tony Abbot during his November 10to 16 working visit to Australia, spokesman Yopie Hidayat said here on Saturday.
"They will certainly discuss efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, that have been good so far," he stated.
Boediono will also meet Australia's deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss and opposition leader Bill Shorten, as well as lead a delegation which includes the finance minister and head of the Investment Coordinating Board in a meeting with Australian business leaders for investment in Indonesia.
He will also attend the Indonesia-Australia Business Forum, Yopie said.
He noted that the Vice-President would be given an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters by the Australian National University.
Yopie said Boediono was also scheduled to deliver the 52nd Shann Memorial Lecture at the University of Western Australia.
