REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PURWOREJO - Former Army Chief of Staff Gen. (Ret), Pramod Edhie Wibowo joke, the Democratic Party has proven its glory since its birth 12 years ago.
The Democrati member of the Board of Trustees said, in 12 years, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has led Indonesia for nine years.
"The Democrat is just 12 years old, but its cadre had become president for nine years. Nothing can equal the Democrat party," he said.
He also said the typical blue color of the Democrat Party has given suggestions for the glory when compared to the typical color of the other political parties.
"Which one is larger, is it the 'blue' sky or the 'yellow' paddy field? Definitely the 'blue' will win," he said with an analogous.
"So if the Democrats lost the 2014 election, its mean the cadres did not work hard," Pramono said.
Chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council in Purworedjo Branch, M Abdullah said the party was being encountered by many challenges and continue to be 'shaken' a few times lately.
However, according to him, in 2014, Democrats will stand up with the hard-working reputation of the cadres and will be able to bring victory to the party.
