Bali to host World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2013

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- About 51 countries from five continents will compete at World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2013 in Nusa Dua, Bali October 30 until November 3, 2013.

Chairman of Organizing Committe, Ade Lukman said that representatives of countries would play in some classes, such as junior class (boys and girls), adult class (boys and girls), couple and team.

"About 51 countries signed up for this championship. 15 countries have confirmed their participations and  I think its number will increase ahead of opening of event," Lukman said recently.

American zone will be represented by United States, Canada and Mexico. European zone will be represented by Germany, Italy, Portugal and France. Asia is represented by Southeast Asian countries, Iran, Bahrain, Oman and East Asian countries.

Australia is also involved in this prestigious competition, as well as African countries such as Egypt and Algeria.
