Bio Farma regains ministry of trade's Primaniyarta Award 2013

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned pharmaceutical company, PT Bio Farma won Primaniyarta Award 2013 from Ministry of Trade four times. This award was designed to recognize national companies that successfully increasing and expanding its export markets.

Previously, Bio Farma recieved Primaniyarta Award 2012 in best performing category of exporters in five three year span, 2010-2012.

Head of Export Marketing Division of Bio Farma, Hegar A Suprayogi said that the company was worth awarding as they have successfully developed its market to Asian countries, such as Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Iran.

This company also expanded its market to African countries, namely South Africa, Egypt, Bostwana, Namibia, Nigeria and Mozambique.

"Bio Farma's new product, Pentabio, which was launched by Ministry of Health in August 2013, will be immediatly distributed to several countries, such as Philippines, Laos, Egypt, Myanmar, Nigeria and Thailand," Suprayogi added.

Corporate Secretary of Bio Farma, M Rustan Rahman also stressed the company readiness to achieve wider expansions as Bio Farma International stepped in to significant progress in meeting global standard operation procedures and requirments regarding its pharmaceutical products and the making process.

Bio Farman, added Rahman, commited to always renew World Health Organization certification based on Quality Management System ISO: 9001, since it was the main requirement to sell the products abroad.
