Pertamina opens an ex-Petronas gas station in Bandung

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - State owned oil and gas company, PT Pertamina, officially opened a gas station acquired from Petronas (Malaysian oil company -Ed) in Dago, Bandung, West Java on Friday. The gas station is managed with concept of Company Owned Company Operated (COCO).

"Dago COCO gas station is one of eight units we acquired," President Director of Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan said last week.

Pertamina has acquired eight gas unit stations spreaded across Jakarta, Tangerang, Sidoarjo, Medan and Bandung. All stations will be developed into COCO gas station owned and managed by Pertamina, through its subsidiary PT Pertamina Retail.

COCO gas station is expected to be a role model and standard service gas station in their regions. It will serves Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Pertamax Dex. Its presence also encourages good economically cosumers to use non subsidized fuel.
