Garuda reopens route of Denpasar-Brisbane

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - State owned airline company, PT Garuda Indonesia reopens route of Denpasar (Bali) - Brisbane (Australia). Garuda has previously served Denpasar-Brisbane flight during 2000- 2007.

"Denpasar-Brisbane flight serves everyday with departure from Jakarta at 11.10 PM and arrive in Brisbane at 07.10 local time, and then fly back from Brisbane at 08.40 local time and arrive in Denpasar 01.10 PM," Vice President of Eastern Region in Garuda Indonesia, Rosyinah said on Tuesday.

Opening flight of Denpasar-Brisbane is part of network development program of Garuda Indonesia, especially in South West Pacific region that will provide more options for passengers to travel to Australia. Brisbane is Australia's third largest city after Sydney and Melbourne.

This route is expected to bridge the needs of service users between two cities, both for business and tourism destination. Currently, Garuda Indonesia serves 49 times per week. Garuda Indonesia flies even twice per day to Perth and Sydney, from Jakarta and Denpasar.
