Arsenal conquer Indonesian Dream Team 7-0

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The visiting football club, Arsenal, conquered Indonesian Dream Team in a friendly match in Jakarta on Sunday. Indonesian failed to repeat a success strory made by Niac Mitra when the football club from Surabaya defeated Arsenal 2-0 in 1983.  

Seven goals of Arsenal were made by Theo Walcott in 19th minute, Chuba Akpom in the 53rd minute, Olivier Giroud in the 71st and 73rd minute, Lukas Podolski in the 83rd minute, Kristoffer Olsson in the 85th minute and the last goal was kicked by Thomas Eisfeld three minutes before the game over. 

Lukasz Fabianski skillfully save the Gunners' wicket from Indonesian goal. While the defeat adds the long list of Indonesian failed matches.   

"I'm very pleased by our team performance tonight. It's a good start before season 2013/2014. We reshuffled our strategy in the second half," Podolski said after the match. 

This friendly match is part of Arsenal's Asian tour 2013. From Indonesia, the club coached by Arsene Wenger will visit Vietnam and Japan.
