Telkomsel doubles 3G network capacity in Ende

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - Indonesia's major mobile network operator, PT Telkomsel doubled capacity of 3G networks in Ende, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. This effort aimed to ensure better communication access during the commemoration of Pancasila and inauguration of Bung Karno's site in Ende on Saturday.

"We estimates that 10 thousands people attend the commemoration," Head of Sales and Customer Care Telkomsel Regional Bali-Nusra, Hasan Kurdi in Denpasar.

The dubled 3G network capacity was conducted on 18 3G base stations (Node B) in downtown Ende. Telkomsel also strengthened its network by deploying compact mobile base transceiver (Combat) on the main location of the event. Telkomsel hold Combat at the Sumbawa University of Technology where visited by Vice President, Boediono. Ende is a historical city, where Soekarno sent to exile by colonial power, before he became the first Indonesian president.
