Free admission in ten museums for batik wearers

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Jakarta provincial government plans to revitalize 'Kota Tua' or 'the Old Town' by organize a festival. Various exhibitions and attractions will be held for three days, August 18 to 20, 2013.

 

Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture, Arie Budiman said the location would be held in the garden of Fatahillah Museum, Central Jakarta. "There will be a kite which is flown from the corner of Kota Tua," he said on Saturday.

The activity called 'the Kota Tua Creative Festival.' The whole creative industries in Indonesia would be empowered to fill the event. There are 10 museums managed directly by city government will be free to entered by visitor wears wear batik clothes. 

Ten museums comof the Jakarta History Museum, Puppet Museum, Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics and Maritime Museum. Next, Joang Museum, Textile Museum, and the National Monument.
