REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUKABUMI - Indonesia's tuna exports to Japan are reported undisrupted despite bad weather. Most of the fishermen in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi, are still catching the fish fish this week.

"We continue the tuna exports as fishermen can still catch a lot of fish," the Head of Palabuhanratu Fishery Port (PPNP), Arief Rahman Lamatta, said. But, he admitted that bad weather caused some fishermen used small boats to stop fishing.

The Speaker of Sukabumi Parliament, Badri Suhendi, who was a fisherman, said Palabuhanratu was rich of tuna. He added that the current tuna exports to Japan was processed in Palabuhanratu. The process was previously conducted in Jakarta before the floods affected the city.
