The Philippines thanks for Indonesian helps during Bopha

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DAVAO -  Assistant Secretary of the Philippine Social Welfare Department, Vilma Cabrera, thanked Indonesia for its aid given to victims of Typhoon Bopha in Davao.

"I, representing Philippine Government, thank Indonesian people for their solidarity," Cabrera said on Saturday after receiving the aid. 

Coordinating Minister of People's Welfare, Agung Laksono, representing Indonesian Government, distributed the aids. The aids cover 2,500 blankets, 2,500 tents, and 2,000 tonnes of rice.

"As a prone-disaster country, Indonesia puts an empathy for Philippine for their loss," he said.

Earlier, Indonesian Government gave a million USD and some life's necessity. It was distributed by Indonesian Chief of Army Agus Suhartono.
