REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Government will not impose tax on micro enterprises. Minister of Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises, Syarifuddin Hasan, is optimistic that government can implement the new regulation next year.

"Entreprenurs with profit less than 300 million IDR are the objects of this policy," Hasan said on Monday.

He said that the step was expected to boost the growth of micro and small enterprises in Indonesia. Tax free is also considered as a measure to increase the enterprises' profit.
