REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR - State-owned railway company PT KAI optimistically says that railway in Cilebut that connects Jakarta-Bogor can be operated next week. "It is 80 percent ready," the Head of Public Relations at PT KAI, Mateta Rijalulhaq, said on Monday.

The technical team built the foundation for the track  on Sunday, while on Monday they set 200 meter railway above the foundation. "It may not be perfect yet," Mateta admitted.

After setting the track, they will put electricity installation. PT KAI will also strengthen the side track to prevent future landslide. Heavy rain on November caused landslide in Cilebut and interrupted the railway operation. Landslide also caused four electrical poles fallen.
