REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Aids to Gaza City continue to flow from Indonesians. People here use many efforts to raise the funds, including holding an auction as did by some communities in Jakarta.

"We are dedicating Muslim women role to gather the funds by holding auction. The money will be given directly to women and children of Gaza," the Chairman of Knowledge and Dhikr Al-Fadhila, Linda Sjamsoeddin, said on the event 'Al-Fadhila Indonesia Caring, Sharing, and Loving for Gaza' on Monday.

From the auction, selling paintings, branded bags, clothes and mirror, Al-Fadhila successfully gets 88 million IDR. The organization plans to dedicate the money to build kindergarten in Gaza.

"We focus to help Palestinian children. We want to help them reaching their bright future," she said.

Another women organization, Adara Relief International, has also focused on Palestinian women and children since 2008. An activist of Adara Relief International, Maryam Rahmawati, said that the organization had collected a billion IDR, also for building kindergarten in Gaza.

Meanwhile, National Committee for Palestinians (KNRP) in West Sumatra has collected 655 million IDR and 25 million IDR in the form of jewelry. "We will directly send it to Gaza," Secretary of KNRP, Romi Iskandar, said.
