Indonesia invites Japan to invest on green car

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NEW YORK - Indonesia invited Japan to develop Indonesian green car, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Tuesday to Japan Prime Minister Yoshihido Noda on the sidelines of UN General Assembly in New York. Presidential Staff on International Relations Teuku Faizasyah said Indonesia was interested to become the developer of environmental friendly and affordable car. 

"We offer a kind of cooperation (to Japan -Ed)," Faizasyah said.

Menawhile, Prime Minister Noda appreciated Indonesian role on encouraging the discussion on South China Sea. "He hopes Indonesia keeps maintaining its role to reach success in EAS in Cambodia," Faizasyah said.
