REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ULAN BATOR - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and the First Lady Ani Yudhoyono on Thursday morning were treated to welcoming ceremony in Sukhbataar Square, Ulan Bator, next to Mongolian Presidential Palace. They, accompanied by his host, President Tsakhia Elbegdorj, were receiving an honor from cavalry and troops.
SBY and President Elbegdorj then held bilateral meeting at State House and proceeded by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Both also met the Mongolian civil society, the speaker of Mongolian parliamentary Z Enkhbold, and Prime Minister Althankhuyag.
SBY and his entourage, Minister of Industry MS Hidayat, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Mari Elka Pangestu, Chairman of HIPMI Raja Sapta Oktohari, and House's member Roy Suryo, arrived at Chenggis Khan Airport in Ulan Bator on Tuesday before leaving to Vladivostok Russia to attend APEC Summit on September 8-9.
