REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President of Russia's United Aircraft, Mikhail Pogosyan, invites Indonesia to collaborate in producing the spare parts of Sukhoi fighter and commercial, according to Indonesian Ambassador to Russia, Djauhari Oratmangun. "This cooperation on aviation, including the transfer of technology, is possible," Oratmangun said on Saturday in Moscow after meeting Pogosyan.
They rarely talked on Sukhoi tragedy in Indonesia. "It is time to look at the future," he said.
He added that Pogosyan was also interested in inviting Indonesian students to study on aviation in Russia as Russia had two best universities on aviation in Moskwa and Kazan. He said Sukhoi was ready to give scholarship.
On his future visit to Indonesia, Pogosyan plans to general lecture on aviation in Indonesia's university.
