REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) plans to call Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah on Thursday night to send his condolence over the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
“I have written a letter of condolences. But I will still call King Abdullah because he has paid much attention to Indonesia,” SBY said on Thursday.
King Abdullah’s attention, he said, was among others, preventing Indonesian labors in Saudi Arabia get death sentence. “Many of them get the remission. Some are freed. It is a must to maintain the communication,” SBY said.
