REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, Bandung has good news for you! This city holds Indonesia Hijab Fest in June 12-15.
"We think Bandung as the city of creativity. Many creative industries have emerged here. This city is also a main destination with accessible transportation," the organizer of Indonesia Hijab Fest, Sheena Krisnawati, said on Tuesday.
Bandung Local Government also supports this fest. With participants from Bandung, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali, about 104 booths from fashion industry, hijab, boutique, and cosmetics will show their products in Hijab Fest 2012.
This first event in Indonesia facilitates the performers of creative industry. Another organizer, Tita Herliawaty, is optimistic that Indonesia Hijab Fest can promote hijab industry.
