REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Publicly-listed pharmaceutical company PT Kalbe Farma Tbk has acquired a 100 percent stake in healthy drink maker PT Hale International for 100 billion IDR. Kalbe Farma and its subsidiary signed a conditional sale and purchase agreement for a 100 percent stake in Hale International on May 30, Kalbe Farma corporate secretary Vidjongtius said in a public expose on Thursday.

"The company is in the process of finalizing the transaction which is expected to be completed in the next few months," he said. The acquisition was in line with the company`s strategy to strengthen its product portfolio in the segment of healthy drink, he said.
