REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA - The Minister of State-owned Enterprises Dahlan Iskan said on Sunday that he would soon ride electric car. "The car will be done in two months. I'm still waiting," Dahlan said.

Four units of electric cars from four inventors are planned to finish on July 2012. Dahlan will choose one of them. The cars, he added, were only prototypes and have not been produced massively.

"We will discuss it, including a plan to make it as national car. I will use it first," he said.

Dahlan said earlier about a plan on making electric national car to reduce the using of fuel oil. The electric car is needed in Indonesia considering the crisis of oil resources in the country.
