Dahlan Iskan sells e-Toll cards

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Minister of State-owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan, participated in selling electronic card for toll users from Mandiri, e-Toll. Accompanied by some public figures, such as Artika Sari Devi, Sandra Dewi, Happy Salma, and Dik Doang, sold the card in Cililitan Tollgate, East Jakarta on Monday at 10.00 in local time.

“The Ministry commits to promote state companies under the ministry. It is not only Mandiri, but also Garuda and Perumnas some time ago,” Iskan said on Monday.

He was also accompanied with Executive Director of Mandiri, Zulkifli Zaini, and Executive Director of Jasa Marga, Adityawarman.

Mandiri would give 10 percent discount to the users of e-Toll, Zaini said on the same event. “The discount is valid on April 16 to July 16, from Monday to Friday,” he added.

The discount can be used by new and old e-Toll users in all Jasa Marga automatic tollgates. With e-Toll, the long queue and traffic jam re expected to be reduced.

Mandiri has issued 693,000 cards by March 2012. The e-Toll transaction amount reached 4.8 million transactions per month. It increases by 300 percent from March 2011. The cards can be topped up in certain Mandiri ATM.

Meanwhile, Jasa Marga has added 33 automatic tollgates on last February. Jasa Marga now has 50 automatic tollgates in Indonesia. In this April, Adityawarman said that 46 other automatic tollgates would be finished. He will also add 640 field officers to speed up the service.
