JAKARTA – Stevie wonder really did wonder on the stage. His talent successfully hypnotized the audience on the last day of JaVa Jazz Festival 2012, late Sunday, despite the pricey ticket. Ummm… the ticket cost 2 million USD, yet his performance attended by around 15 thousand viewers!
Stevie Wonder showed up at the stage at 21:37 local time. Coming out from the left wing of stage, Stevie walked slowly and brought white keyboard. "Indonesia Hello," Stevie said. Thousand hands were clapping spontaneously, so much cheers and enthusiasm.
As How Sweet It is became the opening song, Stevie then sang 'The Way You Make Me Feel'. The audience sang all together.
The red lighting represented Stevie spirit in playing keyboard and harmonica. Accompanied by the band and backing vocal, Stevie sang and danced to the night. Overjoyed, I Just Call to Say I Love You, I'm Every Woman, Don't You Worry About Thing were like magic spells to hypnotized the sea of crowd.
In almost two hours Stevie entertained his fans. He closed his performance with As. Then, he bowed to the audiences. After saying his farewell Stevie jumped a little like a children who got a present. Big applause from the audiences was the precious gift for Stevie. "I Love Indonesia," he shouted. Definitely, the night was unforgettable for anyone in the Hall.
