Erykah Badu mesmerizes the JJF audience

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Erykah Badu tranquilized the sea of audiences at Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2012. Performed on Friday night, the sounds of drum were heard followed by the appearance of Erykah Badu, who recently banned from Malaysia recently because of her controversial tatto.

Wearing black flowing robe and turban, she sang 'Happy to see you again'. The famous singer with her album, Baduizm, in 1997, mesmerized the audiences. Known as First Lady of Neo-Soul, she sang 'Hip-hop', 'Other Side of the Game, 'Me', and other hits. Erykah cheered the audience by standing in the border of the stage and holding her fans hands.  

Supported by 1500 musician from 15 countries, JJF 2012 is opened from Friday to Sunday. They perform world class music shows in 19 stages. On the second day, numerous high class musicians from Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, Maliq D'essential, Dewa Budjana, to Erykah Badu are the most anticipated performances.
