REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Foreign tourists (tourists) have each character when choosing to travel in Indonesia, whether tourist destination, tourist attraction, to tourist sites.

While the character of Middle East tourists is family trip, or family tourism in kid-friendly neighborhoods.

"Travelers from Middle East love family friendly. The trend is not always about halal, but also friendly tourism to families," said Deputy Assistant Market Development of Europe, Middle East, America and Africa, Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, Nia Niscaya in official statement to Republika.co.id on Monday (23/5).

Besides, the air and the beautiful natural scenery also become their choice. Nia explained area in Bandung and Puncak, West Java, become choice because they love to see the mountains or the tea garden with cold air.

"They love to see the greens. For them it's like a paradise, there are trees, cool air, orchards, and other natural beauty of the panorama," Nia added.

The Ministry of Tourism held activities of Familization Trip (FamTrip) with 14 travel agents from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Cairo, Egypt, in 22-28 May 2016. This event was aimed to attract market travelers from Middle East in Indonesia. So the ministry of tourism can reach the target of 300 thousand people in 2016.
