REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Joko Widodo (Jokowi) optimistic he would win votes in West Java. The number 01 president candidate also invited all of his supporters to win a big victory when campaigning in Cirebon.

“In West Java, we must win,” Jokowi said when met his supporters at Gebang Mekar Fishery Port, in Cirebon regency, West Java on Friday (Apr 5).

Jokowi said in 2014 presidential election, he won 64 percent votes in Cirebon. Therefore, he believed in 2019 presidential election he could get bigger votes.

“This year, 2019 we must reach votes above 75 percent,” Jokowi added.

Jokowi invited all of his supporters to come to the polling stations (TPS) on April 17. He asked them to do not forget wear white shirt.

Furthermore, Jokowi also invited his supporters to fight hoax (fake news) and slanderous that were increasingly circulated ahead of election day.

“Don’t let any slander issues and hoax affect us,” Jokowi said.
