"On behalf of Ibu Ani and our extended family, I request prayers from friends so that Allah SWT heals my beloved wife Ibu Ani, or Kristiani Herawati bint Sarwo Edhie Wibowo. So, Ibu Ani can return carrying out daily activities in the country," said SBY.

The former president said he believes that his wife is a strong, steadfast and tough person in facing life's challenges. Even, when he was still serving as president for 10 years, both of them had felt joy and sorrow together.

"However, me, Ibu Ani and family must be united in the spirit of faith and strength so that all efforts to cure Ibu Ani with God's help can be successful," he hoped.
