REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - A number of officials of Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) has been reported by Advokat Cinta Tanah Air (ACTA) to the National Police. The report was filed on Sunday (Jan 6) with the number LP / B / 0023 / I / 2019 / Bareskrim.
The officials, namely PSI's Chairperson Grace Natalie, Raja Juli Antoni, Tsamara Amany, and Dara Adinda Kesuma Nasution allegedly have spread slander, hatred, and provocation against pair of presidential candidates number 02 as the party granted "Kebohongan (Deceit) Awards" to Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno. The same award also dedicated to the Democratic Party politician Andi Arief.
"The PSI's officials look like to have given an 'awards', but the real purpose is allegedly to insult presidential candidates pair Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno and their campaign team member, Andi Arief," said Coordinator of Reporting Team in ACTA, Djamaluddin Koedoeboen, on his statement, Monday (Jan 7).
ACTA considered the news on Kebohongan Awards has caused confusion among the public, especially supporters of Prabowo and Sandiaga.
"I, as the reporter who is also a supporter of Mr. Prabowo and Sandiaga, is also affected and became a victim, as allegedly carried out by PSI management," said Deputy Chairperson of ACTA Hendarsam Marantoko whose name was placed as a reporter.
Hendarsam also asked the police to arrest all those behind the news of the 'Deceit award', which aimed to give a deterrent effect.
Hendarsam added that a number of PSI officials are suspected of violating criminal offenses concerning ethnic, religious, race, and inter-group (SARA) conflicts which aren't known to Article 156 of the Criminal Code Jo Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning criminal law regulations.
PSI determined the award for the three figures on Friday (Jan 4). They named Prabowo as the winner of the 'Most Exaggerated Lie' on the statement of presidential candidate number 02 regarding the dialysis tubes for BPJS Health patients at the RSCM Jakarta.
Andi got the award for his deleted tweet on marked ballots. Meanwhile Sandiaga was awarded the 'Essential Lie' for his statement about the construction of Cipali Toll without debt. andiaga claimed to only deliver what was conveyed by people.
"I was only delivering the people aspiration. I don't want to comment about the award, but for me, what I conveyed was from people," said Sandiaga in Senopati, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, on Sunday (Jan 6 ).
According to him, the people always truthful in expressing their aspirations. He regretted PSI response as if they did not believe what was said by the public.
"So what we conveyed was really a complaint from the public. I hope elite will address it. If you react like that... let the people judge (the reaction)," he said.
According to PSI spokesman Dara Andinda Nasution, the award was given as a form of the party's responsibility to the public as well as provided political education to the public so they will be more cautious in choosing leaders. She said that the three figures have conveyed public lies for many times.
