Telkom introduces PalapaOne apps to IMF-WB meeting delegates

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NUSA DUA -- State telecommunications operator PT Telkom is introducing PalapaOne applications. It allowed delegates to the International Monetary Fund-World Bank (IMF-WB) Group annual meetings to access information on Indonesia Pavilion.

"We are introducing PalapaOne to fully support Indonesia Pavilion held as a side event of the IMF-WB meetings. By doing so, the delegates from various countries will have experience to explore Indonesia through Indonesia Pavilion exhibiting digitally the beauty of Indonesia through PalapaOne mobile applications," PT Telkom Indonesia Senior Vice President for Portfolio and Synergy Pramasaleh Hario Utomo said in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Thursday.

He said PalapaOne could be downloaded through Google Play Store, App Store or website www.palapaone.id to access information about rundown, published photos, product scan, and reminder of Indonesia Pavilion's programs.

The applications will enable not only the delegates but also journalists to trace anything related to the pavilion which exhibits traditional crafts, cultural arts, tourist destinations, as well as the country's economic achievements and national strategic projects.

"PalapaOne is the application developed by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia as part of BUMN Present for the Country program to facilitate digital events including Indonesia Pavilion situated in the area of the IMF-WB meetings in Nusa Dua, Bali," he said.

Not only does PalapaOne allow the event's organizer to manage activities quickly, briefly and efficiently but also serve as a means of event promotion and publication for participants and non-participants, he said.

"Participants can look at the program schedule, meeting room sketch and booth location, have direct access to Indonesia Travel and sees various news stories on the event as well as products displayed in the expo, ranging from handicrafts to investment opportunities," he said.

In addition, they can also upload photos taken during the event and the photos will later be put in the PalapaOne Gallery. he said.

The event's organizers or non-participants can update news, event programs, schedules, speakers and venues through website event, mobile apps event, mobile apps scanner presence, and dashboard.

"The website event will enable participants to search for information on the event (theme, place and date) and do business through PalapaOne applications directly connected to KatalogBUMN and Blanjacom. The event mobile apps can be downloaded and installed in Android gadget or iOS by displaying schedule, place and reminder," he said.
