Police has suspected that a terrorist lived at the flat.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SIDOARJO -- Several explosions were heard again after the one before that left three people hurt at a rented storey house in Wonocolo, Sidoarjo. It was located several kilometers west of the scenes of church bombs in Surabaya in the morning on Sunday.

Due to them army and police personnel tightened security at the flat following the explosions from one of its room.

"Explosions believed to come from bombs happened at around 20.30. Initially one was heard. First, I thought it was from a gas canister explosion but then I saw people running away," Ahmad Firmansyah, one of the resudents, said.

Three people were rushed to a hospital following the explosion at around 20.30 hours from a room on the fifth floor in Block B.

Police anti-terrorist squad Densus 88 has suspected that a terrorist lived in the unit in a rented storey house in Sidoarjo.

"It is believed it is occupied by a terrorist suspect," head of public information of the police's public relations division, Brigadier General M Iqbal, said.

He said the police would investigate the unit to confirm if the person who lived there was linked with those involved in church bombings in Surabaya early in the morning.

"We could not yet confirmif a terrorist lived in the unit," he said.

Iqbal said the police is still investigating if the explosive device exploded by itself or had been detonated.

A blast occurred at a rented storey house in Wonocolo, Sidoarjo, Sunday evening and five people had bern reported hurd from it.
