"The bomb attacks occurred in three locations, namely Santa Maria Tak Bercela Church in Ngagel, GKI (Indonesian Christian Church) in Diponegoro Street, and a church in Arjuna Street," East Java Police Spokesman Frans Barung Mangera said in Surabaya on Sunday.

The police have conducted investigation in the three locations, he said.

He said bomb attacks at the three churches killed 11 and injured 41 victims. The latest developments show that another victim died in Ngagel.

"There are all 41 injured victims who were treated in hospital. A total of 41 injured victims were treated at hospitals," said Frans Barung Mangera.

"Right now there are only three locations. Do not believe in misleading information that (the bomb) exploded in five locations or any others," he added.

The police would share updated information on the victims as well as the incident in the three locations.

"Give us time to conduct investigation in the locations. We will have a media center for journalists," he said.
