REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALEMBANG –- The construction of Trans Sumatera toll roads, especially from Lampung to South Sumatera, will be completed before the Asian Games begin in 2018. President Director of PT Jasa Marga, Adityawarman, said that the toll road will be finnished before 2018, as instructed by the President.
“We got an instruction from President Joko Widodo, some times ago,” he said, in Palembang, Wednesday (19/8).
Lampung toll road will pass Pematang Panggang, Kayu Agung, and further towards Palembang. In Palembang, there will be toll road to Tanjung Api-Api.
Meanwhile, Governor of South Sumatera, H Alex Noerdin, said that the construction of the toll road is a part of government supports to the upcoming International sporting event.
“The toll roads are important to fasten the traffic flow and to improve the local economy condition,” he said.
