REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SABAHBALAU -- Minister for State Enterprises Rini Soemarno said the process of clearing lands for Trans Sumatra toll road project would soon be completed.
Rini, however, acknowledged that support from regional and district administrations is needed to speed up and carry out the process of land clearing.
"Any hurdle should be handled through discussion and negotiations," the minister said here on Monday.
The minister was on a visit here to inspect the progress made in the construction of the toll road project that would link the northern end and southern tip of Sumatra.
She said the land clearing process should be completed in two months , adding,"we will continue to coordinate with relevant regional and district administration."
State companies assigned with the duty to build the toll road have been given the order to be pro active in building the project, she said.
She said by involving all relevant parties all bottle necks could be removed.
