ITB student bullied by motorcycle gang group in Bandung

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- A student of Bandung Technological Institute (ITB), majoring of Geophysical Engineering, Julius Timothy (20 years) was bullied by a motorcycle gang group in Bandung, West Java. The incident happened on October 7 in West Cikutra Street about 01.40 AM in the morning.

At that time, Timothy rode his motorcycle to carry his friend back to Cicaheum. The student then stopped at a food stall in Cikutra. Timothy then was stopped by two motorcycles each carrying two people. The four men attacked Timothy, but he could fight and defeat all of them.

"After that, eight others came with other motorcycles and attacked Timothy with crowbar and machete. Timothy received four stabs in his head, one stab in his neck, arms and back," Timothy's family member, Santi Alawiyah said recently.

Timothy's tendons were injured. His forearm bones were broken and eroded after protecting his head from machete's stab. Timothy suffered as brutality of members of motorcycle gang. He was thrown into a ditch in front of a Heroes Cemetery. Members of motorcycle gang also stole Timothy's motorcycle.

Now, Timothy received medical treatment in Mintoharjo Hospital in Jakarta. The brutal action has been reported to the Police.
