Bali toll road inaugurated on Sept. 23

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan said Bali tool road and Ngurah Rai airport would be inagurated on September 23, 2013. Both infrastructures are prepared for event of Asia Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC), CEO Summit in Bali on October 5-7.

"It will be inaugurated on September 23," Dahlan said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Iskan said he had checked the airport on Monday night. While toll road stretches along 12.7 kilometers and was built in December 2011.

The construction budget of Bali toll road reaches 2.4 trillion IDR. It connects Ngurah Rai airport, Port of Benoa and Nusa Dua. The construction is undertaken by consortium of state owned construction companies and local government. They are PT Jasa Marga, PT Adhi Karya, PT Wijaya Karya, PT Hutama Karya, PT Pelindo III, PT Angkasa Pura I and Bali Tourism Development.
